This is where we stayed, and it made us fall in love with the area. You’ll enjoy breakfast indoors or on the patio overlooking rice fields. Each bungalow sits along a riverside walkway. The homestay is at the end of a dirt road, but it’s worth it to fall asleep to distant monkey calls and panoramic views.

Choose between mixed gender or female-only dormitories, or private rooms that sleep between two and four.
Tam Cốc
You’ll find a larger variety of lodging and restaurants in Tam Cốc. It’s a typical base for backpackers and a convenient location near the Bich Dong Pagoda, temples, and caves.

Tam Cốc Garden
Go all out here and reserve the Full Moon Villa with its own pool, shown below.
Emeralda Resort Tac Cốc
Stay here for the best pool, great views, spacious rooms, and a generous breakfast.

This hotel has a great location, surrounded by rice fields and limestone karsts. Yet, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the main street restaurants in Tam Cốc.
